The 6 In. x 2-3/42 In. pointed blade and tang is forged from one piece of steel for strength. Forging assures product consistency with high integrity that won't weaken or crack. The blade is tempered and ground for flexibility and perfect balance. Each blade is then polished to keep mortar centered on the blade and to resist material from sliding. The hardwood handle is attached with a steel ferrule and balanced for ease of use. The smooth hardwood handle is 4-1/2 In. long. Proudly made in the USA.
