The redesigned 18V 4.0 Li-Power battery pack offers enhanced user experience with the capacity indicator now located in the front. Every Metabo battery is engineered with multiple levels of protection to extend service life. Proprietary ULTRA-M™ technology allows the tool, battery, and charger to communicate with each other for optimized performance. Single Cell Protection in conjunction with Overload Protection prevents over-charge/over-discharge to the individual battery cells and extends service life of both the tool and battery pack by preventing damage from overheating. A fully charged battery pack will deliver 100% of its power in temperatures ranging from 5°F to 122°F. The battery contains integrated impact and skid resistant rubber to stand up to the toughest jobsite conditions, as well as a 4-LED capacity indicator to display the remaining charge. The patented air-cooled battery charging system charges up to 30% faster for less downtime.
